Rivers: Army Urges Public Not To Panic As Division Conducts Physical Tests

The Nigerian Army’s 6 Division Headquarters will host the Captain to Major Practical Promotion Examination for the year 2025 in Port Harcourt and Elele Barracks, Rivers State.

The examination is scheduled to take place from October 6 to 10, 2025.

According to a statement signed by Lieutenant Colonel Danjuma Jonah Danjuma, Acting Deputy Director, 6 Division Army Public Relations, the examination will involve a series of physical activities, including a 13-kilometer endurance walk, traversing some adjoining communities around Port Harcourt Barracks.

Lt Col. Danjuma assured the public that adequate measures have been put in place to ensure public safety and security, particularly on traffic flow along designated routes.

He advised members of the public not to panic on sighting the movement of candidates and examination officials.

The statement reads, “Members of the public are please enjoined not to panic on sighting the movement of the candidates and Examination officials. They are reassured that adequate measures have been put in place for public safety and security, particularly on traffic flow along designated routes.”
