In a recent development on Sunday, the young man shared on his official Facebook handle, a screenshot of the notification received from IBR.

IBR wrote: “We feel overjoyed that your application for Application ID: “IBR17274” is successful and you are now the official Record Holder of the International Book of Records.

“Your Record Holder Certificate will soon be delivered to your postal address.

“At the International Book of Records we take great care to evaluate every application we receive. Before we accept or reject a new proposal, we always carry out specific research, we can require the expertise of an external consultant.”

Reacting to the challenges he faced prior to his winning, the Physicist said after the Maths Aca-athon on 21st December 2023, he and his crew began the process of gathering “video, pictorial, media evidence” for submission to the various record organisations; GWR IBR and Noble Record (NB).

He said: “Sadly, we had challenges in compilation of the video evidence, a force poised at making us give up struck us! The 12 hours video clip was permanently deleted. We don’t know who did it or how it mysteriously deleted itself, but remember my favourite statement is this: ‘Nothing must block our path!!,

“I was able to recover 7 hours after performing the deep recovery check. And sadly 16 hours were submitted instead of the initial 21 hours.

“The record was first achieved by Professor Suresh Babu Under the International Book of Record (IBR) and never under GWR. The good news is that the IBR reached me yesterday 2nd March 2024 to congratulate us on the success made, after thoroughly watching the clips and other evidences for two months, they have Approved us for an award (Certificate and Medal) and our attempt was declared successful for 15 hours after removing the 5 minutes rest breaks that we took!”
