Uzodimma Hails Enugu Governor For Joining APC

Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has commended the Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah, for his bold and wise decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a move that will further strengthen national unity and the developmental strides of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Speaking during the official defection ceremony and attended by top political leaders, Governor Uzodimma lauded Governor Mbah for demonstrating political courage and vision, noting that his defection reflects a growing recognition of the APC’s commitment to Nigeria’s progress.

“We from the South East are happy with this decision,” Uzodimma stated. “It has once again strengthened our integration into the national politics of Nigeria and reinforces the confidence that the region stands to gain more by aligning with the progressive direction of the country.”

The Imo governor also expressed gratitude to the Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the event, for his continued support and leadership in advancing the administration’s development agenda across the federation.
