Yul Edochie Denies Blocking Judy Austin’s Ex-Husband From Seeing Children

Actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has responded to calls from some social media users urging him to intervene in a dispute involving his wife Judy Austin’s ex-husband, Emmanuel Obasi, and their children.

Edochie clarified in a post on his social media page, insisting that he has never prevented anyone from seeing their children and that he has distanced himself from the matter.

According to him, issues relating to the children should be discussed directly between Obasi and Judy Austin, stressing that he has no role to play in the arrangement.

“Some of my fans have reached out to me, saying, ‘Please allow him to see his children.’ I have never stopped anybody from seeing his children. Tell him to call his ex-wife if he wants to see or take his children; let them discuss it. He has her number. It has nothing to do with me,” Edochie wrote.

The actor also criticised what he described as the growing trend of people chasing clout and social media earnings by dragging his name into personal matters.

His reaction follows Emmanuel Obasi, Judy Austin’s former husband, who made a series of allegations during an emotional podcast interview that sparked widespread online reaction.

Speaking on the podcast, Obasi claimed that Judy’s admiration for Edochie went beyond that of an ordinary fan while they were still married.

He alleged that she frequently expressed affection for the actor and openly praised him whenever he appeared on television.

“I’m the former husband to Judy Austin, Yul Edochie’s wife. We have two children together,” Obasi said. “Anytime we were watching television and Yul Edochie appeared on the screen, Judy would stop paying attention to everything else. She would tell me directly that she loved Yul and would keep praising him. I have evidence that they were dating under my roof.”

Obasi also displayed old wedding and family photographs during the interview,

However, Judy Austin has consistently denied allegations that she had a romantic relationship with Edochie while she was still married to Obasi.

She has maintained that her marriage to Obasi ended in March 2013 and that her relationship with Edochie began years after their separation

Since Edochie publicly unveiled Judy Austin as his second wife, the development has remained a subject of intense public debate, drawing reactions from fans, celebrities, and social commentators
