Christian Business Leaders Seek Media Partnership For Nigeria’s Moral Revival
The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI), Nigeria, has called for stronger partnership with media organisations to promote ethical values and support national development.
The call was made during a courtesy visit by the Lagos National Convention 2026 team of the fellowship to The Guardian Newspapers headquarters in Lagos.
Speaking on behalf of the National President, Barrister Isaac Okpanachi, the Chairman of the Convention Planning Committee, Mr Sunny Beyioku, said Nigeria is facing challenges including corruption, insecurity, high living costs, policy inconsistency and declining social values.
He said the media has a role beyond reporting events, adding that truth-driven and solution-focused journalism can help rebuild public trust, promote integrity and encourage responsible leadership.
Beyioku also announced the fellowship’s National Convention scheduled for November 11 to 14, 2026, in Lagos.
The event will feature business seminars, youth mentorship programmes, family sessions, anti-corruption campaigns and other activities focused on promoting ethical leadership.
