Donald Trump Mocks Bloomberg Over Loss At Democratic Primaries 

The United States President, Donald Trump has mocked a billionaire political opponent, Mike Bloomberg, following his withdrawal from the U.S Democratic presidential primaries on Wednesday.

Trump blasted Bloomberg in a tweet on Thursday, adding that his financial net worth and spending spree could not get him the presidential ticket of his party.

Trump also claimed that Bloomberg would now use his financial power to boost the political chances of former Vice President, Joe Biden.

Bloomberg had stepped out of the presidential race on Wednesday after a poor outing on Super Tuesday which saw Biden and Sander emerge with big wins in the Democratic primaries.

He also endorsed Biden as the best bet to defeat Trump at the 2020 presidential elections, having spent about $676 million of his personal fortune on the primary campaign, the most money ever spent on a U.S. presidential primary campaign.

THE WHISTLER had reported that opinion polls conducted across the U.S are showing Biden and Sanders as leading contenders from the Democratic party.

Biden lauded Bloomberg for the endorsement, pledging that Trump’s political defeat was imminent.
