Enugu First Lady Celebrates Renewed Hope Initiative Anniversary

The First Lady of Enugu State, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, joined Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, alongside other state First Ladies, development partners, and stakeholders in Abuja to commemorate the third anniversary of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).

The event, held at the State House Banquet Hall, celebrated the achievements of the initiative and its impact on thousands of Nigerians through programmes focused on agriculture, education, healthcare, economic empowerment, humanitarian support, and social inclusion.

Speaking at the event, Oluremi Tinubu stated that the Renewed Hope Initiative was established to complement President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by implementing community-based programmes aimed at improving livelihoods and empowering vulnerable groups.

According to her, more than 28,000 beneficiaries, including women, youths, senior citizens, veterans, and persons with disabilities, have directly benefited from the initiative’s interventions across the country.

The anniversary, themed “Our Stories, Her Impact,” highlighted the lives transformed through the programme and underscored the commitment of stakeholders to expand support for Nigerians in need.
