Enyimba Names Jaka Media Director, Bethel Kalu Officer

Enyimba International Football Club of Aba have appointed seasoned sports journalists Emeka Jaka as its new Media Director and Bethel Kalu as Media Officer as part of a major restructuring exercise approved by the club’s Chairman, Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo, ahead of the 2026/2027 football season which begins on August 28.

The appointments are among a series of strategic changes aimed at strengthening the club’s administrative and operational structure as the People’s Elephant prepare for the new campaign.

In a related development, the club also constituted a new Stadium Management Committee with Chukwudi Okanume Azubuike appointed as Stadium Manager.

Okanume will be assisted by Jimmy Anigo as Assistant Stadium Manager, while James Eke will serve as Secretary of the committee.

The Stadium Management Committee has been tasked with overseeing the day-to-day management of the club’s iconic stadium, ensuring proper maintenance of the facility, keeping the playing surface in excellent condition as well as safeguarding the stadium’s infrastructure and other properties.

The latest appointments underscore Chairman Kanu Nwankwo’s commitment to repositioning Enyimba both on and off the pitch through strategic reforms designed to enhance the club’s operations ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

With experienced media professionals now leading the club’s communications department and a new stadium management team in place, Enyimba is taking significant steps to reinforce key areas of its administration as preparations for the new season gather momentum.
