Gunmen Abduct Wife, Son Of Kebbi APC LGA Chairman

Suspected bandits have abducted the wife and son of the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman of Yauri Local Government Area in Kebbi State, Alhaji Yusuf Alhasan.

The attackers reportedly stormed Alhasan’s residence in the Low-Cost area of Yauri between midnight on Sunday and the early hours of Monday before taking away the two victims.

Radio Nagari FM reports that the assailants targeted the chairman’s family members during the overnight operation.

The whereabouts of the victims remain unknown as of the time of filing this report.

Efforts by THE WHISTLER to reach the Kebbi State Police Command spokesperson were unsuccessful, as calls were not answered.

Security agencies have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
