Raducanu, Serena Know Opponents As Wimbledon Concludes 2026 Championship Draws

The 2026 Wimbledon draw has been completed, with the top tennis players now knowing their path to glory. The action from the All-England Club gets underway next week, with two weeks of tennis drama set to follow.

Emma Raducanu has been drawn against Croatia’s Antonia Ruzic in the first round and could meet world No 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the third round.

If Raducanu comes through her opening match, she could face fellow Briton Harriet Dart or Jelena Ostapenko.

Serena Williams, who was given a wildcard after returning to the sport earlier this month, will play Australia’s Maya Joint. Remarkably, Williams had already won seven grand slams by the time 20-year-old Joint was born.

Defending champion Iga Swiatek will open proceedings on Centre Court on Tuesday against Taylor Townsend and if she comes through the first two rounds, she could meet Williams in the third.
