Ali Ndume’s Bombshell Revelation On Boko Haram: Army Buries 847 Soldiers In 6yrs

The Chairman of Senate Committee on Army, Senator Ali Ndume, has made a shocking revelation on the alleged burial of 847 Nigerian soldiers killed by Boko Haram insurgents.

Ndume, who revealed this to reporters on Tuesday, said the huge number of troops were killed in six year (between 2013 and 2019).

The senator said members of his committee who recently returned from Maiduguri found that the soldiers were buried in the military cemetery located in Maiduguri, Borno State

Ndume noted that the figure did not include soldiers who were killed by the insurgents and buried in other military cemeteries in other parts of the country.

The senator, however, denied reports that the army conducted mass burial for the soldiers killed by terrorists.

Meanwhile, the military has yet to give an official figure on the number of soldiers who have been killed by the insurgents.
