Imo Constitution Review Public Hearing Suspended After Gulak’s Murder

The House of Representatives Special Committee on Constitution Review has suspended its zonal public hearing scheduled to hold on Tuesday in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

The suspension followed the murder of former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan by gunmen while returning to Abuja from Owerri.

In a press statement seen by THE WHISTLER, the Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Wase, said the public hearing had been suspended “till further notice”.
