A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Mrs. Ifeoma Onyeoma Agbomah, has said that President Mohammadu Buhari is empty and has nothing to offer Nigerians.
Onyeoma, who made this statement during an interview in Asaba, condemned the All Progressives Congess (APC) – led Administration saying it has not achieved any meaningful thing for Nigerians.
Onyeoma served as a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of PDP between 2012 and May 2016. She was among those dissolved on May 21 in Port Harcourt convention.
Her words,” It’s all rubbish. I am not trying to be sentimental. The APC government is not doing anything. You don’t tell a thief to return what he has stolen but don’t steal again.
“Buhari’s government has no agenda, he did not mean well for Nigerians. Our youths are drowning every day at the Mediterranean Sea, our people are dying of hunger every day and Buhari’s government is not doing anything about it.”
She went further to commend former president Goodluck Jonathan saying that he did his best for Nigerians, adding that Buhari has done nothing compared to him.
“Dr. Goodluck Jonathan did a lot for Nigeria and Nigerians. His government built a lot of institutions particularly in the power sector. Jonathan’s government did so much for the north.

“The present federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari has not done anything compared to what Jonathan did for the north let alone for the entire Nigerians. Jonathan did his best for Nigeria, we should appreciate that,” she said.
Onyeoma added that the problem facing Nigeria is not corruption but continuity, stating that PDP should not be blamed for everything.
“In my own view, the problems of Nigeria did not start under Goodluck Jonathan’s administration but during the military era where there was no accountability in governance. The PDP should not be blamed for the problems Nigeria is currently facing as a country, the military should be blamed. The PDP government did her best to remedy some of the problems created by the military. If we are blaming PDP, what has the APC government achieved for Nigerians since President Buhari assumed office on May 29, 2015?
“The greatest problem facing Nigeria is that of continuity. We don’t want to continue from where others stopped, we want to build our own structures even when there are already existing structures. Goodluck Jonathan meant well for Nigerians. It is unfortunate that President Buhari has refused to build on Jonathan’s legacies. He has dismantled everything. Jonathan may not be a perfect human being but that does not mean Buhari and members of his cabinet are saints. I am proud to be a member of PDP.”
