Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja has asked the crowd that gathered in his court over the case involving former Head of Service, Winifred Oyo-ita, to vacate the court room.
The judge was billed to preside over the matter between the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the former Head of Civil Service of the Federation and others.
He said it was in compliance with federal government’s directive over Coronavirus.
The court had been overpopulated with people standing inside the court room.
Recall that the federal government had ordered that people should subscribe to its social distancing guidelines, geared towards curbing the spread of Coronavirus.
Justice Taiwo also said he would only look at arraignment and fundermental human right matters.
He said only lawyers, EFCC officials and journalist should stay, alongside the defendants.
