MASSOB Accuses Primate Ayodele Of Deception

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Monday, accused the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, of using his religious position to deceive Nigerians.

MASSOB stated this in a statement released by its National Director of Information, Comrade Edeson Samuel. The pro-Biafra group alleged that Primate Ayodele’s criticisms of Mr Peter Obi, Labour Party’s presidential candidate in 2023, and his support for President Bola Tinubu were part of a sponsored campaign to discredit the former Anambra governor.

Quoting MASSOB, “In your support bid for President Tinubu, you have turned blind eyes to the huge evils his administration has caused Nigerians, including your kinsmen. You have also ignored the ongoing genocide against Christians in Nigeria.”

The Biafra agitation group declared support for US President Donald Trump’s position against the Nigerian government, noting that US’ intervention would expose “foreign and local-backed Fulani jihadists” responsible for attacks on Christians.

MASSOB decried Ayodele’s stand that Trump’s position was aimed at destabilizing the Tinubu administration.

Quoting the release, “Tinubu is the one destabilizing his administration by appointing his kinsmen to occupy almost all strategic positions and running the government like a family business.”

MASSOB added that Tinubu’s presidency lacks legitimacy.
