Nasarawa Records First COVID-19 Case

The state governor, Abdullahi Sule, broke the news on Tuesday.

According to him, the index case is a woman who travelled from Kano to Kokoda Local Government Area of the state.

She developed some symptoms and was taken into isolation before she tested positive.

“We already evacuated the lady from Kokona to Lafia where we have better facilities to take care of her.

“We have also isolated the family where she came from so that we can conduct a proper test to ensure that her family members are not infected, ” Sule stated.
