Rivers APC Has Taken Another Step Towards Dislodging PDP In 2023—Dakuku Peterside

Former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency, Dakuku Peterside, has commended the seamless conduct of the All Progressives Congress local government congresses across the state held on Saturday.

He said it was another step towards taking over power in the state by 2023.I

Peterside, who took part in the exercise in his local government area of Opobo/Nkoro, also commended the party faithful for their maturity and patience in electing their grassroots leaders in a friendly atmosphere.

He  said, “This is another progress being made by the party in the state. Recall that we had recently elected our ward leaders, who have been subsequently inaugurated and have been discharging their duties.

“The successful conduct of the local government congresses on Saturday signifies another march towards taking over the state in 2023 and offer Rivers people what is responsible governance.”

The former NIMASA D.G appealed to APC members to come together and build a united front that will dislodge the Peoples Democratic Party in the State.

He said Rivers people were already fed up with Governor Nyesom Wike’s lack of accountability, growing unemployment of Rivers youth  and lack of support for small and medium scale businesse
