APC Leads PDP By Six States In Governorship Election Declared

The All Progressives Congress, APC is presently ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the list of winners declared so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC INEC declared winners in 22 of the 29 states where the governorship election held on March 9. Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has won his re-election bid as governor of the state for a second term. He was declared winner of the March 9 governorship election in the state today, by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. Governors of the South South region have urged the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Nkanu Onnoghen, to ignore the summons of the Code of Conduct Tribunal. The Anglican Diocese of Ika in Delta State now has a new Bishop in the person of Ven. Godfrey Ifeanyichukwu Ekpenisi who is a First Class graduate of Christian Religious Studies from the University of Abuja.
