The Borno governor was seen wearing a facemask and hand gloves during his visit to the president.

Buhari and Zulum observed social distancing in compliance with the guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) against the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) during a meeting they held inside the president’s office.

The agenda of the meeting was not disclosed by the Presidency, but it may not be unconnected to Tuesday’s attack on Borno communities by members of Boko Haram/Islamic State for West African Province (ISWAP) sect.
