BREAKING: Kyari Bags BusinessDay Newspaper ‘Energy Executive Of The Year’ Award

At the 2021 BusinessDay Newspaper Oil & Gas Awards, the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mallam Mele Kyari has bagged the “Energy Executive of the Year” Award.

HRM King Alfred Papapreye Diete-Spiff, the Amanyanabo of Twon-Brass, presented the award to the GMD at the occasion.

Kyari has been able to guarantee energy security for Nigeria by ensuring that the Train 7 project is not only signed but Final Investment Decision was taken.

He also said that the fortunes of the NNPC have been turned around from a corporation that has consistently been making losses to one that posted its first profit of N287bn in its 44-year history.
