Buhari Extends Lockdown In Lagos, Ogun, Abuja For One Week

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, has disclosed that the lockdown of Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) would be reviewed from May 4.

The earlier lockdown was billed to end today, Monday.

He made this known while addressing the nation on Monday.

According to him, effective from May 4, there would be a gradual easing of the restriction in those states.

But he said the easing of restrictions would come with new guidelines which includes curfew from 8pm to 6am and an interstate lockdown till further notice.

He said the measures were necessary to ward off the Coronavirus pandemic.

He urged citizens to be patient with Government for the greater good of the nation.
