The National President of YYSA, Olalekan Hammed, who gave the advice in a statement on Sunday said they should not allow what was happening in the South-East to creep to the South-West.

The statement read: “It is our inalienable right to agitate for whatever we believe can ease our physical, mental and emotional suffering.

“We cannot mock, fight or condemn Yoruba nation agitators if they continue to be peaceful in their conducts.

“We are less concerned whether or not rain dispersed them on Saturday, it is God that decides when it rains.

“Besides, the Yoruba nation agitators must always be conscious of their actions. What is happening in the east should not be allowed to be replicated in Yorubaland.

“Many police stations have been set ablazed and officers were killed in the Southeast.

“We will welcome any form of destruction or killing either by external or internal forces with stiff resistance. Yoruba land is not home of senseless agitators.”
