The equaliser arrived in first half injury time, when Liverpool forward, Philippe Coutinho, turned inside and beautifully curled home from the edge of the box.

The Reds took the lead in the 74th minute, with Coutinho providing another excellent finish after turning inside Terry from Benteke’s knockdown.

It was not long before substitute Christian Benteke slotted home to score Liverpools third and hand Jose Mourinho his 6th loss of the season.
