Former governor of Delta state, James Ibori, is currently before a UK court for his confiscation trial.
The trial is presided over by David Tomlinson, a justice at Southwark Crown court. If found guilty, he might forfeit his assets, worth about 250 million pounds.
Recall that Ibori, who was sentenced to a UK prison for 13 years, was in December, released after fulfilling his jail term.
He was sentenced after pleading guilty to 10 counts of money laundering and stealing $250m.
