Fans Attack Burna Boy Again Over Twitter Arrogance

Following a tweet by Nigeria Grammy-nominated artist, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu aka Burna Boy, announcing his plans to quit Twitter, fans have flayed him for alleged arrogance.

This is coming a day after Burna Boy boasted that Reekado Banks wasn’t a worthy challenge for him.

Burna had said he wanted to go toe-to-toe with anyone worthy to challenge him for lyrical or musical competition.

But one of his musical peers, Reekado Banks had challenged him to a competition but Burna Boy turned it down, saying he was not a worthy challenger.

Since then he has been trending on Twitter.

This is not the first time fans would attack Burna Boy over what they see as his arrogant attitude.

He fueled the controversy on Wednesday when he tweeted he was quitting Twitter because he was “too real” for Twitter users.

If what Nigerian twitter said about me had any effect on me then I would be Dead by now. There’s even a Yoruba saying that translates “He who says the truth won’t even find a mat to sleep on”. well Ive proved that to be WRONG. You Can’t take nothing from Me.
