The suspect was said to have confessed that he is from Boue clan in Khana and was pushed to stealing as a result of hunger and joblessness.

He claimed to have studied electrical electronics from the Ken-Saro Wiwa Polytechnic, Bori Rivers State, but was unable to do his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) due to courses he carried over.

He reportedly alleged that a friend brought him into the business and since then he “has been making good profits.”

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) SP Bako Agbashim, when contacted by THE WHISTLER, said the culprit had been brought to the station for further questioning and investigations.
