JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mop-Up Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the recently conducted 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise .

A statement released by the spokesperson of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, on Tuesday, said candidates who participated in the examination can check their results through the board’s result-checking channels.

JAMB conducted the mop-up on June 13, 2026 across designated centres nationwide to accommodate candidates with peculiar biometric challenges and those who signed the attendance register but could not write through no fault of theirs.

The statement noted that the exercise marked the final phase of its 2026 UTME cycle.

“Following the successful conclusion of the mop-up exercise and the release of the results, the Board will commence the ranking of candidates. Thereafter, the printing of results for admission purposes is expected to begin before the weekend,” the statement said.

JAMB introduced the mop-up examination for candidates with peculiar biometric challenges, as well as those who duly signed the attendance register during their earlier scheduled examinations but were unable to sit for the test.
