Magu, EFCC Directors Appear Before Investigative Panel for Second Week

For the second week, the suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has appeared before the Presidential Panel set up to investigate allegations of corruption against him.

Some directors of the commission are also said to be appearing before the panel to be grilled too.

Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Ayo Salami is the chairman of the panel.

Magu first appeared before the panel last Monday after the panel invited him for questioning over the allegation.

He was subsequently suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari to allow for an independent investigation.

He has been appearing before the panel  on a daily basis from police custody.
