Okojie Has Revolutionised Nigeria University System – Group

In a bid to starve off unsavory allegations against the Executive Secretary of National University Commission (NUC), Prof Julius Okojie, a reputable pressure group, Media Network has lauded the numerous achievements of the NUC boss.
In a statement released on Monday and made available to this medium the group has called on President Muhammadu Buhari and all relevant stakeholders to disregard accusations made by shadowy group, Young Professionals for Justice and Accountability in Nigeria, saying it is a smear campaign to distract the current anti-graft war.
Furthermore, the anti-corruption group headed by executives Mr James Okoronkwo and Johnson Eze, described Okojie as a regulator and quality enhancement provider for Nigeria university system, as he has recorded laudable achievements and enhanced service delivery under his leadership.
The sinister group, Young Professionals for Justice and Accountability in Nigeria, had in the past called for the probe of the NUC boss, levelling allegations of corruption against him.

While challenging the group to provide evidence to back up their frivolous claims, Media Network against Corruption noted that NUC “as a commission that oversees Nigerian university system, it is absolutely ridiculous, inane, mischievous and callous for the so called nebulous association to cast aspersion on the impeccable integrity of Prof Okojie, whose profile and track record is without blemish.”
According to the group Okojie’s drive to embed transparency and accountability in the management of Nigerian university system has pitted him against forces of darkness hence their resort to blackmail.
The group appealed to the general public to disregard the negative campaign against NUC boss, while challenging security agencies to fish out the harbingers of the falsehood being spread against him by wicked online medium Aljazirahnews.com.
The group commended Okojie led NUC for increasing access to university education in Nigeria by his ingenuity of licensing private universities as well as enhancing research activities in the ivory tower.

In addition, they appealed to Prof Okojie to take solace in the fact that in annals of Nigerian history his name shines like a meteor saying that “that Okojie’s leadership has provided internet access to Nigeria universities which has given it global competitiveness amongst other numerous achievements”.
