Tinubu Visits Buhari In London

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Sunday, visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Abuja House in London.

Tinubu’s visit to the president comes barely a week after Buhari departed the country for the United Kingdom on an official visit.

The Presidency had earlier disclosed that President Buhari will be holding discussions on Nigeria – British relations with Prime Minister Theresa May during his stay in London.

Announcing Tinubu’s visit to the president, however, was Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, who revealed this in a tweet.

“President Buhari receives National Leader of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu (Jagaba) today in London,” said Ahmad.

President Buhari, who departed the country on Monday, will participate at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings (CHOGM) which comes up on 18th to 20th April, 2018.
