Ahmed Musa: I’m In Self -Isolation, Not Positive For Covid-19

Super Eagles of Nigeria captain and Al-Nassr of Arabia forward, Ahmed Musa has taken to social media to debunk rumors that he tested positive to the dreaded Coronaviirus.

The prolific striker returned to Nigeria recently from Saudi Arabia with his family aboard a private airplane.

The 27year old took to his social media handle to confirm his intention to isolate himself for two weeks as recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC).

His announcement had sparked speculations that he had tested positive for the virus.

But the footballer denied the rumour, saying he was in good health and his family was doing great.

“Pls ignore any false news about me or testing positive to Covid 19.We are self isolating for 14 days as we just got in from Saudi Arabia as the law stipulates. Stay safe! Maintain social distance. AVOID FAKE NEWS! , He wrote on Twitter

Musa was recently added to the list of 50 worst players to have played in the EPL as he had struggled with Leicester, city scoring 5 goals in 33 appearances in two seasons.
