BREAKING: EFCC Raids Shehu Sani’s Abuja Residence

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are said to have raided the Abuja residence of the former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, on Wednesday.

The EFCC had last week summoned Sani for questioning over allegations that he extorted a Kaduna businessman, Alhaji Sani Dauda, to the tune of $10,000.

The senator was said to have taken the said sum from Dauda, who is the owner Kaduna-based motor company, ASD, with the promise to help him resolve a case he had with the anti-graft agency.

Sani was subsequently granted administrative bail after being grilled by the EFCC.
