The disagreement is said to be generating tension in the town now.

Recall that four of the robbers were killed and burnt by residents who prevented them from escaping after the robbery on Wednesday.

Some of the residents who spoke to our correspondent said the hunters pursued the robbers and caught one of them and recovered the corpse of the injured one.

The eyewitnesses said residents were afraid that the robbers might still regroup and attack them if the remaining one was released to the police.
