Buhari, Ministers Hold First FEC Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the first Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting with his new ministers in Abuja.

The meeting kicked off at about 11am at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Buhari had inaugurated the ministers on August 21 for his second term of another four years.

The first meeting which was supposed to have held last week was cancelled as the president was out of the country at the time.

Over the past few weeks, the ministers had familiarised themselves with the operations of their new offices.

Also present at the meeting are Vice-President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Head of Civil Service of the Federation Service, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita; the National Security Adviser, Maj. – Gen Babagana Monguno (retd).
