Coronavirus: Aisha Buhari Announces End Of Daughter’s 14 Days Isolation

President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, Hanan, has ended the 14-day isolation she embarked on after recently returning from the United Kingdom.

The First Lady, Aisha Buhari, announced this in a tweet on Thursday, where she suggested that her daughter had tested negative for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Hanan had been in isolation in compliance with the guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) that persons who have recently returned from countries with high cases of COVID-19 should self-isolate for 14 days.

Mrs Buhari tweeted that she had just reunited with her daughter for the first time since she returned from London where she is studying.

“It is a thing of joy & gratitude to Almighty God to reunite with my daughter after she had been in isolation for 14 days immediately she landed in Nigeria. While I’m wishing all those infected for a speedy recovery, I pray for the end of this pandemic,” the First Lady tweeted.
