THE WHISTLER tried to reach the state’s police spokesperson, Sanusi Abubakar to confirm the incident, but he did not respond to calls and text messages sent to his phone.

This incident came six days after bandits in a convoy of about 200 motorcycles reportedly attacked the Unguwar Lalleh market in the state.

The assailants killed many and also looted items belonging to the traders.
