Dutch FA Cancels 2019/2020 League Season
The Dutch Eredivisie Season for 2019/2020 season has been cancelled with immediate effect .
The development would denied the league leaders, Ajax Amsterdam, the league title.

The development means there would be no promotion or relegation from the top flight, following an agreement reached over a video conference between the Dutch FA (KNVB) and clubs.
The Dutch FA had earlier this week stated that it did not intend to continue the 2019- 2020 season after the ban from the government on events was extended to September 1 due to the Corona Virus Pandemic.
