Emirates FA Cup Quarter/Final Dates Revealed

The English Emirates FA Cup , one the oldest cup competition in the world of football has rescheduled it’s quarter final date for 27/28 June and the final for August 1.

This is coming after the Premiere League announced the resumption dates for league fixtures on Thursday.

The FA Cup quarter finals is scheduled to be played through late June and the Semi-final through the weekend of July 11-12 and the final on August 1.

In a statement, the FA chief executive Mark Bulligham said: “We are pleased to agree the provisional restart date for the 2019/20 Emirates FA Cup.
“The competition has been an integral part of the English football calendar for nearly 150 years, and we’d like to thank the Premier League Executive and Clubs for their support in scheduling the remaining matches during this unprecedented time.
“This has been a difficult period for many people and while this is a positive step, the restart date is dependent on all safety measures being met. The health and wellbeing of players, staff and supporters remains our priority.”

Manchester City won the last seasons FA Cup and are in strong position for the tittle but would face a strong opposition from Leicester City , Newcastle United, Chelsea FC, Sheffield United, Arsenal, Norwich City and Manchester United all in pole position to win the trophy.
