His identity, phone number and email address were revealed by a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, who had earlier posted an internal memo signed by INEC’s National Secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, on how the electoral body allegedly used the server in polls.

Omokri is an agent of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) whose presidential candidate in the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, is challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in the polls.

Atiku had claimed to have obtained original results of the election from INEC’s server which he claimed contradicts the results declared by the electoral body,

In revealing Taiwa’s identity, Omokri tweeted: “This is Femi Taiwo, the man behind the now deleted INEC server. Nigerian and foreign journalists should interview him. If he denies, then I will provide more evidence.  He can be reached on 08034544165 or [email protected].

“The young man has done nothing wrong and Nigerians should not attack him. He is not the culprit. @INECNigeria, that denied the existence of a server is. The whole point is to contact the young man and interview him about his work for INEC,” he tweeted.
