JUST-IN: Afenifere Chieftain, Fasanmi, Dies At 94
A Chieftain of Afenifere, Pa Ayo Fasanmi is dead.
Fasanmi, a Pharmacist, who died on Wednesday night, was aged 94.

His son, Afolabi disclosed this in a statement.

Afolabi said “With gratitude to the Almighty God for a life well spent, we wish to announce the demise of our father, Senator Ayo Fasanmi, at the ripe age of 94 years.”
According to him, his father died peacefully in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
The deceased was also a Second Republic senator.

He was the the leader of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Egba Afenifere as well as a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Party (APC).
