Lagos Discharges 26 COVID-19 Patients

Lagos State has successfully treated and discharged twenty-six more COVID-19 patients from its isolation centres.

The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, announced this on Wednesday.

According to him, the 26 patients include , 13 females and 13 males, discharged from isolation facilities at Yaba, Onikan and the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

“The patients, 6 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 11 from Onikan and 9 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.”

With this, the number of Covid-19 discharged cases in Lagos has risen to 528.
