NCDC Activates 30th COVID-19 Lab In Abuja

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Wednesday it had activated an additional lab to its molecular laboratory network, bringing the total in the country to 30.

The lab at the National Intelligence Agency, Abuja is the 30th of its kind in the country.

In a tweet via its official handle, the health agency said two more laboratories, in Kwara and Gombe, were in progress.

This brings the total number of labs with the capacity to test for #COVID19 in Nigeria to 30

The centre however announced a total of 10,819 cases in the country including 3, 239 recoveries and 314 deaths.
