The Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr and the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick have visited the super eagle’s goalkepper Carl Ikeme in a hospital in London.
Carl Ikeme, the 31-year-old Nigerian international goalkeeper who plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers of England, was recently diagnosed with acute leukemia.
Acute Leukaemia is a type of cancer that affects the bone marrow and blood.
Blood tests results during his pre-season testing and further medical investigations confirmed he had the disease on his return to Wolverhampton Wanderers for pre-season training.
The NFF shared a phof the trio today on its twitter handle and captioned it: “NFF President @PinnickAmaju alongside Coach Gernot Rohr visited Eagles goalie @Carl_Ikeme today in London.”
