Mohammed, a resident of Felele, Lokoja, was arrested following a tip-off from residents of Omoko Community, who alerted authorities about suspicious activities around the ATC Active Mast Site, code KG 0087.

The Command said its operatives, working with local youths, placed the area under surveillance after receiving the report.

At about 3:00 a.m. on July 28, 2026, the suspect was apprehended with items believed to have been removed from the mast installation. His alleged accomplice, identified only as Hussein, remains at large.

The NSCDC said Mohammed confessed during preliminary interrogation, adding that investigations are ongoing. He will be charged to court after the investigation is concluded.
