One Rescued As Another Three-Storey Building Collapses In Lagos

A yet to be identified man has been rescued from the rubble of a three-storey building that collapsed on Cemetery Street in the Ebute Metta area of Lagos State .

Rescuers stormed the scene immediately the incident happened and pulled out the victim.

There was no loss of life as at the time of filing this report but fire fighters, policemen and others are still at the scene of the collapse.

The Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident said there was one loss of life.

The LASEMA DG said, “it was discovered that a three-storey building collapsed and the cause cannot be ascertained now.”

A three-storey building had earlier in the month collapsed on Freeman Street while another collapsed at Ikotun area of the state.
