Akintoye alleged on Thursday that some agents of the Federal Government and a popular Lagos based journalist were already in New York recruiting non-Nigerians to counter the self-deternination agitators’ march.

He said each marcher was paid $500 for the protest to portray Buhari as a good leader but he said they would overwhelm them.

In series of videos from the protest venue on Friday, it was observed that the two groups were gathered together to stage counter protests.

But one of the Yoruba Nation protesters said they had seized the placards of some of those allegedly recruited to march in support of Buhari.

The marchers who wore vests with inscription of Yoruba Nation hurled insults at the other group calling them “shameless, homeless.”
