Senegal President Returns To Duties After Self-quarantine

The President of Senegal, Macky Sall, is back from self-isolation.

His second covid-19 test result returned negative, the government disclosed in a tweet on Friday.

“President Macky Sall ended his fortnight yesterday after receiving negative tests at the Covid-19,” it tweeted.

Recall that the President had on June 25, gone into self-isolation following his contact with a Covid-19 case.

According to him, he had to quarantine himself for the next two weeks in line with advice by medical experts.

Senegal’s covid-19 cases have crossed 6,000 with over 90 deaths.
