The Federal Government has granted citizenship to about 335 foreign nationals, presidential spokesperson, Mr. Femi Adesina said on Wednesday.
He disclosed the decision was reached at the just concluded Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Adesina explained that a total of 500 persons applied for Nigerian citizens, however about 165 were disqualified.

As part of issues deliberated during the FEC meeting, the Ministry of Water of Resources claimed it inherited 117 abandoned projects from the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan which it said stood at N89 billion.
