Recall that at the announcement of the new phase of the eased lockdown, the federal government had lifted restriction on interstate movements and subsequently domestic flights.

He said “This will be determined by the federal ministry of transport. Few days before we went into the current phase of eased lockdown we met with the minister of transport and minister of state. We’ve asked them to put in place the necessary operational guidelines similar to what the aviation sector has done to enable them start.

“So the ball is in their court, so when they get back to us and tell us that they’re ready, then we will have no issues in terms of signing them off.”
