2Baba Drops Single ‘Important’ Ahead Of New Album

Nigerian singer 2Baba has released his third single in 2019 titled ‘Important’ ahead of his much-anticipated 7th solo album.

In the song, the legendary singer talks about how things that happen around us have impact on the way we see ourselves or how   others see us, particularly in the social media age.

The song’s music video, directed by Clarence A. Peters, opens with stunning aerial shots showing expansive forests with gushing waters in the background. Contrasting images of dancers clad in ebullient colors also give spice to the video.

The video showcases African wax prints, with shots taken in a local community where both children and elders surround 2Baba.
